The Davae Conflict

The Davae Conflict was one the bloodiest event in history with over 6,000 casualties. Starting as a dispute between two families of Davae, soon the entirety of the country of Blennon was involved. Large amounts of mana were spent up and expelled. The devastation was intense. The island country still hasn't recovered even after the two centuries since it happened. To walk on Blennon is to walk on truly cursed ground.

The Conflict

Prelude

Unbeknownst to the Davae of Blennon, a demon had taken control of a young boy within a Davae family, the Ichiri. After numerous attempts to expel the demon, the family had become complacent and attempted to just live with the demon control. This is when the boy murdered an entire housefold from the Pikara family tree. In a fiery court session a Pikara family member suggested a multiple user exorcism for the boy and Ichiri finally accepted. Before the chalk circle could even be finished, the member that suggested the exorcism cut the boys throat killing him. The families erupted and destroyed the entire island in the process.

Deployment

Two families of Davae around 30 people each.

Battlefield

The island country of Blennon. The city of Hava was especially friendly to the battles and suffered massive losses.

Conditions

The battle lasted for a week before the Beholders stopped the fighting. Within this week it rained for 6 out of the seven days with thunderstorms intermittent. Some believe it to be from the massive amount of mana being used.

Outcome

After the Beholders stopped the fighting they attempted to execute the remaining Davae but were unsuccessful. The remaining of their species exiled themselves across Ilea.

Aftermath

It's estimated that only 5 Davae remain alive on Ilea at this time because of this battle. Over 95% of their population was wiped from an already waning number. Their species will not recover.

Historical Significance

Legacy

A few "Davae Hunters" exist to try and find the members remaining of the species. While most have assumed that they have been wiped out, its entirely possible that they are still alive considering the raw mana power they have. If they alive, it is only a matter of time before the world is dealt another serious blow by them.

In Literature

The Davae Conflict is an extremely popular subject in non-fiction works. Some works of fiction have come out about it as well, depicting a rogue Davae from the Ichiri family falling in love with the second in line for the Pikara family head.
