Ilea

Ilea is a planet in the Yessune system steeped in rich culture and deep strife. It is currently the year 2103 and cybernetics are finally catching up with the magical abilities of the people. Multiple races call Ilea home. The story takes place in the bustling mega city of Crestfall. 40 Million people make their home here amongst the growing violence and governmental corruption. Crestfall was formed around 300 years ago when a Dwarven mine caste found a deep strain of rare minerals underneath it. Naturally, as the mining business grew, so did the city around it. A large population of elves, who had just been forced to relocate made their new homes here. They began to form the government and eventually vie for Crestfall's City-state status. As the city now sits it is a cesspool of criminal activity, racism, corruption. magical misuse, and violence. The one shining hope for the city is the ancient order of the Beholders who now are reduced to mere detectives looking into magical crimes, of which there are many. Their main objective is to find the cause to a mysterious new storm that has completely engulfed the city. This storm has made it impossible to trade with outside cities and communications wont go through. 3 years have passed since the storm has appeared and little to know knowledge has been learned about it. The food stores are running dangerously low, factories are being shut down city wide, and riots have begun on the lower levels. How long can Crestfall hold out with this impending doom surrounding them from all sides?
