King Leo Lefryn

Leo ruled Lefryn for 13 years. His father, King Wolfsbane, ruled for 60 years and was a decorated war hero, stabilising the kingdom and quashing a later rebellion hatched by the vassal Kingdom of Darhaven and Kingdom of Tychachia to overthrow him. Leo was similarly decorated in the wars, but was overshadowed by the conqueror king.
Leo was the peacemaker to the father's conqueror. His reforms were liberal to begin with, but an attempt to provide the citizens of Darhaven full citizenship to Lefryn (which would make them eligible for all positions on the council) was a step too far for conservative counsellors and resulted in a political stalemate for the final years of his rule.
Leo married Queen Aná of Mesifi at the age of 24. He married his first wife, Lady Kindred, aged 16 following the War for Lefryn. They were wed seven years, but Lady Kindred died in childbirth and the infant did not survive. In T.A. 276, aged 47, Leo developed The Shakes after falling from an untamed mare he was trying to break, which made it nigh impossible to continue his martial practice with his previous skill.
Leo was killed by The Wasps, a vigilante band in the Honeyvale. The band was informed by the visionary, Geneve, who saw the King's passing. Geneve has not been seen since the death of Leo.

Tall. In earlier years, had a slight frame which belied great strength. In final years Leo grew weak and frail due to his affliction.

Pale skin. Shoulder-length greying hair, previously brown.

Unstoppable tremor which affects his entire body but especially his hands.

Special abilities

Was an incredibly talented rider before his affliction. At sixteen, was one of the best fighters in the Kingdom of Lefryn.
