Kollerdörf
1500 years ago, the city of Kollerdörf stood tall as a major trading centre (at the top of the peninsula, just on the marsh border, south-east of Kragmere). Kollerdörf straddled the trade route connecting the settlements to the west and the dwarven kingdoms to the east, over the Mountains of Razdun. The most prosperous city in the region, it ruled over Fanvegasen (which would later become Icarna) and other large towns in the area. It was a multicultural masterpiece, with members of each race welcome and accepted into the community.
However, this didn’t last. The machinations of the Lich, Logar Tor, resulted in the Lich being trapped within the city of Kollerdörf, which was quarantined all those inside condemned to death. To this day, Kollerdörf stands quiet and cold. The forest around it took on a dark, spectral presence and beat back any curious travellers. The whole peninsula has since taken the name of the destroyed city, which is now little more than a crumbling tower.
Rune magic is common in the areas around Icarna and Kollerdörf. The Dead Forest continually expands away from Kollerdörf onto civilised lands and Icarna continually cuts it back and employs Campani bells to ward off the undead. This includes on the trade road east, leading under the Mountains of Razdún.
