The Lyushin Wilds
5 months past

I awoke in my Bedroll lying upon my back on the outskirts of the Lyushin Wilds. I remember having set off from this point already, but my Pack was lighter by at least 2 week's rations, and a pouch of gold is in its place. I tidied up my camp as best I could and took my waterskin to a nearby river. As I was filling it I caught a glimpse of my reflection. The woman looking back at me was like a wraith, horned and pallid. I cried out and upset some birds in nearby trees.   Upon considering for a time on what my plans were to be, I checked my map and set out for the nearest town: Maksary. On the journey I penned the letter I would send home with most of the gold I had been... paid? I would not be returning to my parents with this guise. I would sooner die than subject them to that. Instead I told them that the job would take longer than expected but I would send what I could and return home when it is done. Done meaning when I no longer looked like this strange creature. I thought of my friend Barvia and her devotion to Unnia. I was at a loose end but I believed in Justice, so I would ask her what to do, and if she wouldn't speak to me then I would talk to an acolyte to find out what I can do.   When I arrived in Maksary I sought a courier to send the package to my parents. and sought the temple to Unnia for guidance as my prayer had got me nowhere. The acolytes offered me a place to stay and I swore an oath to offer them my protection. Glynna Willowbank, a priest of the temple, listened to my hardships and uncertainties. She told me she was not sure how I could get back to my former appearance, but she could help with my monetary assistance to my parents. She had heard of bandit activity to the south and of people being held captive. The easy job would have been to clear out the camp, but she felt something bigger was at play. With my new appearance I could look even more intimidating and find my way to join the bandits and find out who was leading the leader and pulling the strings, and maybe find what their goal really was. and so with the promise regular money would be sent to my parents, and a farewell letter sent their way, I set off to the south to be captured, and then take part in unjust activities so that Justice could prevail.
