Nekane comes from a family of devout followers and doers. Within her blood runs that of the followers of Temp, God of Life and Nature and followers of Thanatos, Goddess of Death and Decay. Life and Death are a part of her heritage.
Journey to the City of Glass Experience
She was hired by Harold as the muscle during the Journey to the City of Glass, her experience was one of strife, as Nekane was paired up with a party. She was not used to working with others and therefore kept to herself for the most part, not trusting others easily outside of her family. In reality she was hunting a man who had been illegally brought back from the dead, and due to certain incidents, one of her party members, a half elf by the name of Mithdolial, learned of her true purpose on that ship.Masks of the Dead Experience
After agreeing with Werno, Goddess of Fate and Time to never accept the offer to take up the City of Glass job, Nekane was sent back to the bar with information regarding her missing father, Aaron Elevir. Who had, until that moment, been missing for 24 years. No amount of scrying magic had been unable to find him, until Nekane asked Werno a specific question on how he was able to hide from such powerful magic. Armed with this knowledge, Nekane kept it to herself until the time to tell her grandmother was needed, and it was then that she was summoned by Kat to her family’s crypt during an investigation of a break in and missing guard. Nekane was filled with rage to discover that the sarcophagus that belonged to her mother was cracked, as if it had been forced open. Upon realizing that her mother’s body was still there, Nekane was forced to tell her grandmother that there was evidence that her father, Aaron Elevir, was on the rise again and was somewhere in the southern sphere. As she and her party uncovered more and more of the nefarious plans surrounding the crypt incident, Nekane found herself actually developing social and friendly connections with her new traveling mates, and developing new friendships, something the young Tiefling had never experienced before, given her race’s rarity and the circumstances surrounding her birth, a lot of folks who knew her family shunned her for her looks and for being the direct cause of her mother’s death even if it wasn’t her fault since she was only an infant.Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Nekane has purple skin, a long tail that often betrays her real emotions, and has an athletic build. Her horns are in a tight ram like spiral and curl on the sides of her head.

Personal history
Nekane’s birth was not one to rejoice but a day of mourning. Due to her physical nature of being a Tiefling, Nekane’s birth killed her half-elf mother, Mimi. The incident sent her father, Aaron Elevir , deep into the grip of madness in which his necromantic abilities became quite apparent as Aaron tried to sacrifice his newborn daughter to Thanatos, Goddess of Death and Decay in order to bring back his beloved wife. His efforts, however, were stopped by Kat Talnae, Mimi’s mother and Nekane’s grandmother. Aaron fled into hiding and no ounce of divination magic has been able to find him since. Kat chose to raise young Nekane herself with help from her peers and follow priests and priestesses of the Church of Life. But as Nekane grew it became quite apparent that she had the same knack for magic that her father did, and as her abilities grew, so did her curiosity about her parents, especially her wayward father, and Nekane began to ask questions. Kat knew she couldn’t keep the information about Aaron from Nekane long, so she chose to tell the child the truth rather than to hide it. And rather punish than Nekane for her curiosity over magic, Kat nurtured it by teaching her young granddaughter basic healing magics and spells in the hopes that she would take an interest in the Temp, God of Life and Nature. Unfortunately, Nekane found more comforts in that of the not living, but rather follow down the dark and shady path of Necromancy, Nekane took up the mantle of a Paladin, and due to her strange powers and desire for justice, she was brought into the Order of the Black Skull, much to Kat’s Charagin.
