Dragonfyre

Usage

Dragonfyre is a unique variety of dyes grown and produces the most vibrant and rich colour of its respective type. This dye is sought after by the top of society for special garments, occasions, and items such as house banners. Beacuse it is reserved for only high quality and valuable items it gave the dye a prestigious reputation. One reason it is only used by the higher society is because of its expensive nature, as it is only harvested a few times a year, it isn't easily afforded by the common people.

Cultivation

The Niafell Genasi cultivate the blue variety of dragonfyre, even more pigmented than a bright indigo. There are multiple types of dragonfyre plants that are used as dye, all are known for its immense pigmentation and difficult cultivation cycle.

Rarity

Dragonfyre has a such an extreme pigment, since not a lot is needed to achieve a rich colour the plant naturally compensates giving it a very long growth cycle. Requiring careful attention and growing conditions, this is one of the hardest plants in Iedar Tegon to cultivate, making these Genasi even more special in their abilities. While Genasi are the species that have success cultivting the plant, each tribe has a unique colour they produce.
