SMITE
SMITE
Your deity has entrusted you with a sliver of their power!
Your SMITE can do different things, so use the right one for the right occasion.
Unless stated otherwise, SMITE deals 1d8 damage.
Note: See the table of SMITE variants.
SMITE's base damage increases by + 1d8 at levels: 7, 13, 19, 25, & 30.
Flavour | Description | Cost (Spell Castings) |
---|---|---|
Fulminating SMITE | SMITE deals its damage to all adjacent enemies as well | 3 |
Inspiring SMITE | SMITE heals the closest ally to the smitten target for the damage dealt | 2 |
Goading SMITE | When you SMITE an enemy with this flavour of SMITE, if they were to attack you, you may retaliate with another SMITE. This does not stack with itself and is limited to once a turn | 2 |
Commanding Smite | If the smitten target survives this SMITE, you may choose who they attack next instead | 1 |
Meditating SMITE | This flavour of SMITE heals you for the damage it deals | 2 |
Damning SMITE | This smite deals double damage | 3 |
Revenant's SMITE | If the target dies by the end of the round you smote it in, then the spell cast cost of this SMITE is refunded. Note: You don't have to land the final blow, but the target must fall in the round that it is smitten. | 3 |
Dazing SMITE | Smiting an enemy with this SMITE causes them to see multiple copies on you (the caster). The enemy must make a saving throw each round, failing it blocks their ability to attack or make an action. If the target succeeds, then they roll a d4, they only hit you (the caster) if the result is a 4. You may upcast this spell to increase the die size by 1 per tier increased (no cap 2SC's = 1d6 instead, 3SC's = 1d8 instead, 10SC's = 2d20, etc...]). If you upcast this spell, the target must roll the highest possible roll to hit you. Note: This lasts until you take damage, cancel the spell, or recast SMITE. | 1 |
Razing SMITE | This SMITE hits all entities (allies and enemies, minus the caster) in a 5 tile radius of the original target. | 1 |
Cost: 1+ Spell Castings
Speed: Action or Reaction if it's Goading SMITE
