Rune Creation

Turns out stone is a lot more durable than parchment!

You can now apply/make more complicated written spells by carving the writings into stone!

Like with Scrolls, you may transcribe a spell from another Rune onto a second one without destroying the original.

All one must do is break the seal or stone (or depending on how it's written, even touching it) and the spell activates! No training/knowledge needed!

Note: Using this ability does not consume the Spell Castings of the spell you are transcribing.

Runes don't require Spell Castings to use, nor do they require the ability/spell to be unlocked in order to be used.

Unlike Scrolls, Runes can handle any spell transcribed onto them. Meaning the sky is the limit!

Runes are activated either by crushing/breaking the seal or stone it is engraved on, by willing its activation, or by a set trigger activating it.

Runes are destroyed upon use.

Duplicating a Rune does not destroy the original.

You, or someone in your party, must know the spell/ability you wish to transcribe in order to make a Rune from it.

Unlike Scrolls, Runes can be placed or etched onto a surface and can automatically activate depending on the spell. This is useful for setting traps, or alarms, or other automatic needs.

Cost: 2 Spell Castings

Speed: Action
