Human

-"Idor's best creation: 'Humanity'. Ranging in skill, size, intelligence, and strength, this race can accomplish anything they put their minds to. Unfortunately they are also very prone to greed, deceit, and scheming." -Race Description from The World of Idoria TTRPG

-"The great equalizer", "The best middle outcome any race could have asked for", "The brightest of futures". These are all ways scholars over the centuries have described humans. With a 'jack of all trades' attitude and the will of the gods, they achieve anything they set their mind to!

-While they are some of the least-naturally-gifted when it comes to magic, their hard work and determination has seen them wield magics that most didn't think was possible! With only a few years of study and practice, one human, who was a carpenter, managed to learn a spell most thought was reserved exclusively for the likes of the Naturians! Another learned how to make, open, and operate a portal from an Etherial with no other background in magic in only a few months!

-It initially took some time, but humans eventually dominated the landscape and became the most common race on Idoria. Their language, now known as "Common", following suit as the most well known and spoken language on the planet. They are currently the leaders of most internationally recognized civilizations... Which also means they are the ones in charge of most of the strife in the world.

-Cursed by one of The Fallen Ones shortly after their creation, humanity became incredibly greedy and selfish. Hoarding all of the resources they could get their grubby little hands onto and snatching up all of the land with those resources in the process. Although, for reasons still unknown, it is widely preached that the Airenians were the ones who cursed humanity, not one of The Fallen Ones...
