Asura Punisher

Grappling your opponent, you lift them into the air with one hand and immobilize them - and yourself.

During this ability's duration, you and your target occupy the same tile.

Any time the target attempts to use an action of their own, move, or use an item, you and the target must roll best-of-three on 3d20 's. If the target gets a higher roll more than you, they break free and move to an adjacent tile of their choosing. If you roll higher more than them, then you may continue to keep them hoisted in the air.

Any attacks against this enemy (from any source) are guaranteed to hit.

At any time during this ability's duration, you may end this grapple by throwing the target in a direction of your choosing; the target travelling 1d10 tiles.

Meditation: You may either: spend 1x stack of Ki to give yourself another 1d20 to roll against theirs (they do not also gain another die to roll) or you may use it to increase the damage die of Collision Damage by the amount of Ki stacks consumed for this effect.


Note: During this ability's duration, you cannot move, yourself. If you would be displaced, then the target becomes free and returns to an adjacent tile of your original starting location.

You may not kick the target when they are hoisted into the air, only punches.

Does not work on targets significantly larger than yourself.

If the target frees themself whilst performing an action/bonus-action: they get free, move to the appropriate tile, and then execute their desired action.

This ability can only be activated while in Thunder/Fire/Wind God Kamae stance.
