Naerth Maxildinarr

Naerth Maxildanarr is the Speaker of Targos, reputed to be corrupt, and is loyally supported by his militia and its captain Skath Ilkadare.
According to Griffa Shalescar (the Acting Speaker of Breman), Naerth is secretly a Zhentarim agent, who won the Targos speakership because of his popularity with the fishers, whose palms he has liberally greased. Rumor has it that Naerth is eager to secure a Zhentarim stranglehold on trade in Icewind Dale.
Naerth initially attempted to recruit the Party to assist in his efforts to usurp the authority of Termalaine Speaker Oarus Mastew in favor of his lackey in Termalaine, the militia leader Lt. Skerrin, but the Party instead took steps to support Speaker Mastew.
