Ma - Ethen Yarbroul

"Ma" (Ethen Yarbroul), surrogate mother to Zanborin, is a diminutive, gray-haired widow who runs the 3 Flags Sailing Inn in Targos. She recently informed Zanborin that she is actually his aunt, that she and his mother have different mothers but the same father, in her words:
"Yer mum and me weren't close as little ones; our mums despised one another, and they both despised our pa. He was a ranger 'imself, and was quite a scamp across the Ten Towns and no doubt made many more half-siblings of ours across the Dale. No idea what become of him, though my best guess would be a grisly end at the hands of a jealous husband. Anyhows, as we got older, me and your mum became better acquainted 'tho we never told no one about how we was connected. Given the rough life she lived, she asked me to look after ya if'n somethin' happened to 'er."
She gave Zanborin the gift of the Nature's Mantle ,which was Zanborin's grandfather's.
She inquired whether Zanborin has his mother's "amulet" and shared that his mother was concerned that someone was tracking her but she didn't know who. Ma doesn't know what the amulet was for but his mother shared with her the importance of Zanborin having it.
