Klaus Hildegard

Klaus Hildegard is the sergeant-of-the-guard in Termalaine's militia, and a budding friend to Zarra following their honorable combat, which took them both to the point of exhaustion.
Tired of war, Hildegard came to Termalaine at the behest of, and under sworn oath to, the Captain of the Termalaine militia, Jonas Easterling. Easterling now tries to drown the memories of past slaughters in the bottom of a goblet, leaving Hildegard, an honorable and fearsome fighter, still bound by oath to obey the militia's second-in-command Lt. Skerrin, a man he clearly despises...provided his honor is not besmirched in the process.
