Arising as one of the first major civilizations of the Transcendent Era, the Kingdom of Quies grew quickly due to their centralized location in Aeros and being along a common avenue through the land. Eventually becoming the largest in population and most powerful force during the Transcendent Era, the Kingdom of Quies looked to dominate all of Aeros. Though they outgunned the other regions, the Kingdom of Quies found themselves outmatched. When the Kingdom fell, the Republic, Dynasty, and Empire would transform it into a neutral ground known as the Quies Enclave, governed by the Council of Quies.

Each god would choose a champion, someone who would ascend to become a demi-god, wielding the power of a god. These champions would become known as the Ascended, and would be the harbingers of a new war as the hunger for power would take advantage of the Ascended.

    Arcane War
    Military: War

The Kingdom of Quies was driven by power through the influence of the Gods to claim all of Aeros for themselves. The Kingdom dispatched an army of automatons now armed with weapons and magic, known as the Warforged, led by their allied Champions to the ends of Aeros to mount an attack on the Republic, Dynasty, and Empire simultaneously. Such attacks were foreseen by the Republic who reached out to the Empire and Dynasty to form an Alliance. The Dynasty would produce Warforged of their own, the Republic supplied soldiers with their expertly craft weapons and armor, while the Empire used their scouts to spy and provide information to anticipate any attacks from the Kingdom of Quies. Though the battle was hard fought on both sides, many loves were lost without much progress toward peace, and so a more desperate strategy was used. In secret, the Alliance gathered its Champions, and used their combined power to construct and Aegis, a magical barrier around Aeros that would block out the Gods' direct influence of the people of the land. Without the power and influence of the Gods to guide them, the forces of the Kingdom of Quies crumbled, leading to its downfall and the end of the war.

Encalve Era

741 and beyond

Following the abandonment of the gods, the world of Aeros would finally return to peace through the unification of the Idwal Empire, Republic of Aeros, and the Illustrious Dynasty. Through there coalition, the Council of Quies would be formed to rule all of Aeros under the name of the Quies Enclave, a government to keep the Empire, Republic, and Dynasty in check. This era has become one of the most peaceful times in all of Aeros, as without the gods roaming the land, people have become much more accepting of other's beliefs. Nearly 500 years since the war, people no longer wonder where the gods have gone, but the ramifications of the war still remain.
