Myth: The Gold Scourge
A golden dragon is said to have fought the gods to near death. It is said to have flown off back to wherever it originated.
This is said to be the origin of Gromans' hatred of dragons.
Historical Basis
An actual ancient gold dragon got mad at the giants masquerading as gods. Both were nearly killed and eventually parted, swearing never to overstep each other's regions.

Some say the dragon was killed. Others think that the gods imprison it in a mountain.
