The Hero of Time is Returned to the Past

After Link returns to his original time for good, Navi leaves him, as her mission of guiding the young hero to save Hyrule is completed. Link himself still retains all of his knowledge about Hyrule's fate throughout his adventure. With this valuable information, he visits Princess Zelda at Hyrule Castle's courtyard once again in order to prevent such a fate from ever occurring again. Link, who travelled through time to save the land, would be forever known in legend as the Hero of Time.
