Deku Scrub

"I like the Deku Scrubs. Sometimes they attack you, sometimes they talk to you. Sometimes they sell things to you. I like them because you can't tell if they're an enemy or an ally"   -Shigeru Miyamoto

Rooted in Magic, Guardians of Secrets:

Born of the forest, Deku Scrubs are more than mischievous nut-flingers. Their leafy bodies, adorned with flowers and wood-like skin, hold a deep connection to the forest's magic. Though some act as playful tricksters, others serve as guardians, whispering ancient secrets to those who earn their trust.   Whispers echo their origin as an offshoot of the Great Deku Tree, protector of Hyrule's Lost Woods. Spreading beyond its borders, they established kingdoms like Termina, basking in emerald light. These guardians of nature, often playful but fiercely protective, hold the key to unlocking the hidden wonders of the forest.
