Xollin
Not so much is known about the Xollin besides their status as the first humans on the island of Vork, and possibly having a link with the long-gone Ektoni civilisation that roamed the island before even Olm rose to power. It is quite likely the name ‘Vork’ comes from the Vuruuki tribe.
Xollin is not the true name of these people but the mocking name given to them by the centaurs of Xu, based upon their status as the first sentient people’s of the large island. In truth, they have many names, as they are many tribes. Some of these people have moved into Xu cities as lower citizens, often used for cheap labour, and some have even migrated outside of Vork, forming small communities on Tzunar s east coast. Others remained in the thick forests, and so continued the age old tribal lifestyles of their ancestors. Whispers even exist of the Hidden Xollin, who supposedly live in the tallest mountains and sacrifice livestock and even their firstborn children to dark spirits. No confirmation exists on this though.

Aside from the aforementioned tattoos and bone piercings, the tribes perform a sacred hunt known as the Zœlenø once every year, together hunting a Great Moon Bear, perhaps the most dangerous animal on the island besides the stripescyther.
Average technological level
In their native habitats, they are often a primitive people, using stone weapons and arrows. Due to contact with Xu, however, not only have some settled down for civilisation, but advanced weapons such as steel and horses have found their way into the forests, and now some Xollin tribes use them to resist the centaurs and one another.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Tattoos and piercings are regarded as symbols of wealth and status in many of the uncivilised tribes, and so they look upon the city dwelling members, free of such markings with contempt, seeing them as traitors.
Gender Ideals
Little is known about the gender roles and family units within Xollin tribes, but it is presumed they live in a collectivised unit where the children are taken care of by the elders of the tribes.
