Grey Guardsman Ryxel

A former member of the esteemed Mekonia Guard, Ryxel serves as the bodyguard of Lyra, daughter of the Duke of Altyn, the most recent governate to be incorporated into The Phurzic Dominion. As a wise centaur veteran and former Duno, he is knowledgeable with not only battle against tribals and bandits but in court politics and finances. It is for these reasons the Duke considered him the perfect companion for his daughter Lyra and son Arben as they travel to Phoz for Lyra’s betrothal.

An older and more experienced bodyguard, Ryxel is not old enough to remember the conquest of Altyn by the Dominion, but enough to see social upheavals. As a veteran of many battles as part of the Grey Guard, he is an experienced fighter and tactician, knowing full well what strategies work best. His advancing age, however, has begun to take its toll on him.
