Orange Xoeu

The majority of the centaurian population of the The Kingdom of Xu, the orange Xoeu can be differentiated with a darker, more orange shade of fur as well as more pronounced ears compared to most other centaurs. Tending to form a lower class socially than the High Xoeu, they nevertheless share much of the culture of their kin, albeit with some variations.

Family names

Most orange Xoue are not given the privilege of having surnames as that is an aristocratic trait, though meritocratic endeavours have led to families such as the Kam-Kams and the Luntya to priminent positions of Xu society.

Culture

Major language groups and dialects

Xoue, though a number of dialects exist. Rarer languages such as Xenaî or Jindao may also be spoken.

Art & Architecture

While sharing the building styles of their paler kin, Orange Xoue tend to prefer orange and yellow bricks in terms of building, as these are cheaper and more available than what the aristocrats build. Those Orange Xoue who take part in the aristocracy are often seen as treacherous to their people.

Typically unable to show off their wealth, Orange Xoue tend to have more physical standards of beauty, as well as status based on knowledge rather than money.
