God-kingdom of Xiphos
Located across the fairly large volcanic island of Xiphos, the kingdom is in fact a last remnant of the old Olmese empire, with their leader even claiming the title of ‘Empur’, despite little in the way of blood connection to the old emperors. Isolated both geographicallly and politically from the rest of the Forbidden Isles, even the Vunkish dismiss them as an eccentric quirk in the political sphere. With their kings considering themselves gods and ruling with near infallibility over their people, the island kingdom is a hard place to live. Vrain are persecuted to a similar extent as in Vulgar lands, and any centaurs present, either native or shipwrecked from elsewhere, serve as slaves to the human population, particularly the upper class.
Culture
Considered the most ‘pure’ of the Olmese successor states, centuries of isolation with little external scholarly input as well as mixing with the islands’ prior inhabitants has nevertheless altered the Xipho culture into something truly alien compared to the lands elsewhere.
