Goverment: Mostly self declred Kings who sometimes have lesser kings called Earls or Jarels under them who have allied with them. Sometimes lesser Kings take the title of Earl.
Currency: Silver: Silver Flakes and Gold Suns. Sometimes called siver and gold pieces.
Architecture: Wooden Long Houses or Stone Houses.
Climat: Plesently cool in the summer and deadly cold in the winter.

Analog: Late Medieval l BritanSothern Arthuria resembles The Midderlands while northern Cormyr shows signs of influence by The Northern Reaches ( Northlands ).
Religion: Forgotten Realms
Government: Mostly city states with the south east delta being dominated by a feudal monarchy.
Currency: Silver Standard. Copper Pieces, Silver Shillings and Gold Crowns are sometimes referred to as silver and gold pieces. A unit of 100 is sometimes called a "fist" and a unit of 1000 is often called an "arm".
Architecture: Most lower and middle class homes are of Waddle and daub with thatch roofs while the upper class are usually waddle and daub with clay tile roofs or brick.
Brick and Cobblestone houses are more common in the northern areas as are Log Cabins.
Climate: Cold and rainy in the Autumn. Cold and snowy in the Winter. Mild in the Spring and Summer. Foggy mornings are common.
Trees: Balsam Fir, Black Birch, Sequoia, Aspen, Red Maple, Red Wood, Yellow Birch, Oak, Ash and Elm, Willow, Sugar Maple
The Midderlands
Analog: Medieval Briton Religion: GreyhawkGoverment: A mix of city states and small dynastic fiefdoms several republics and independent towns.

Architecture: Waddle and Daub, brick, cobblestone, Wood "Country Homes". Stick and Skin along the southern region.
Climat: Mild in the Spring and Fall. Hot in the summer. Cold in the winter. Rain falls fairly evenly through out the seasons.
Trees: Cottonwood, Ironwood, Water Oak, White Oak, Willow
Analog: A blend of Celtic and Cherokee cultures and ascetics.
Religion: Some of the Gods of Hyboria and Ancestor worship ( for lack of a better word ).
Government: Various tribes often at War with orcs or each other.
Currency: Mostly trade but Business conducted with shillings and crowns of the Midderlands is not uncommon
Architecture: Teepees, Waddle and Daub, Stick and Skin and Clay or Mud Huts.
Climate: Hot and Dry with some mild weeks in the Autumn and Winter
Trees: Chesnut, Black Walnut, Live Oak, Mesquite, Pecan, Hickory, Sweetgum, White Ash, Palm
The Spine of the World
Analog: Sword and SorcereyRelegion: About 50% Ivinian and the rest devided between the other relefgions of Toril with a few outlayers.
Government: The Dwarven Monarchy is domanent but there is a great number of human settlements of various structures of government.
Currency: Mostly whichever currency is used by bordering nations.
Archatecture: Mostly matches the region it borders.
Climate: Varies depending on bordering region and elevation.
