Strike Porcupine

Spines and quills often imply a slow-moving creature that only plays defense, but the Strike Porcupine is a surprisingly nimble and fast moving native of the temperate forests of the Brunivard plateaus. They are nocturnal and herbivorous, enjoying a diet of leaves, twigs, and greenery. A good climber, it will readily climb after fruit or nuts in trees as well.
The giants tribes consider the strike porcupine a pest, since a hungry porcupine can eat a substantial amount of orchard produce in one night. They are also hard to get rid of, since strike porcupines are quick to take offense and will move on the attack if they feel at all threatened, lunging toward any who get too close.
