Red Fly

Almost identical to the gentle Brown Fly, the Red Fly is a carnivorous biting fly native to the Tower Bamboo groves of the lowland jungles of Brunivard. Red Flies prefer fresh meat, biting chunks out of creatures of the jungles and lower plateau slopes. During Red Fly mating season, they will develop a taste for Tower Bamboo nectar, which may cause them to encounter the flower mimic Triffula Stalks. While Triffula eat Brown Flies, the Red Fly will attack the Triffula and if successful, will paralyze it with a bite to the neck before laying eggs in the abdomen of the Triffula.
