Razor Kelp
Razor kelp grows in the cooler ocean waters closer to the poles of Brunivard , and drifts in great mats through the near-shore currents, where it filters out nutrients from the river outflows. Razor kelp is delicious and nutritious when prepared well, makes a sturdy fiber when the strips are dried and pounded apart, and serves as a tremendous hazard to swimmers and water traffic when encountered in the wild. Anyone unprepared or unarmored swimming or falling into a patch of razor kelp will take substantial damage from the sharp edges of this aquatic plant.
