Horned Otter

Horned Otters are playful and curious natives of the snowmelt-swollen rivers and streams of the temperate plateaus of Brunivard. Playful and curious, they are sometimes lured into friendship with giants offering gifts of food. They can be taught tricks, even trained to catch fish upon request, and the most prized will be willing to share their catch with their giant friends. Their horns serve as a form of camouflage, enabling the horned otter to appear as a fallen branch in the water.
