Greater Brunivard Albatross
Though not the heaviest bird on Brunivard, nor the thickest in the body, the Greater Brunivard Albatross has the widest wingspan of any bird on the planet. They can glide almost indefinitely, stooping to catch fish in the water, then resuming their journey. The greater albatross only lands when it is time to nest, and then only on the most remote and rocky islands. They will do their best to choose islands that show no signs of nesting from the year before, so as not to present a pattern to predators that seek out their huge eggs. The young are hatched nearly ready to fledge, and only spend a few weeks on the ground before the flock will take to the air again.
