Eel Shark

Solitary hunters in the middle reaches of the oceans of Brunivard, the 4 meter eel shark hunts for prey. A fast swimmer and agile in the water, it can extend its inner jaw another meter at a startling speed to capture a meal that might otherwise escape. Eel sharks do not feel cheated if they do not get the entire animal they are hunting, and will use their sharp extendible jaws to carve chunks out of kills made by other creatures, even to nick pieces out of much larger animals before dodging away into the dark water.
