Thunderstruck Wasteland
The Land of Electricity
Thunderstruck Wasteland is the land of electricity and masculinity, ruled over by the god Bronte (Bronte). As the name suggests, the Thunderstruck Wasteland is plagued with near-constant thunderstorms. Despite this, people were persistent and managed to set up a small town. This town cleared the title of 'wasteland' from Thunderstruck's name.
For hundreds of years, Bronte cared for the people who lived under the dark clouds, forcing open small holes in the gloom so they could grow some amount of crops to sustain themselves. Despite this, the harsh conditions forced Thunderstruck's people to rely on imports. While the conditions were rough, Thunderstruck had its own exports. These exports came from the rich gold veins underneath the town. These gold veins were what motivated the people who first moved to Thunderstruck, especially the luxury-motivated Dwarves. The exports, typically bought by the royal and wealthy, included:
- Crowns
- Statues
- Certain footwear
- Rings and other accessories
Due to the very limited supply of food, Thunderstruck did not have any specialty dishes. There were at that time, however, rumors of traveling chefs native to Thunderstruck experimenting with certain ingredients in an attempt to create a special type of steak that, due to playing off of her personal perferences, could one day become Bronte's favorite dish. This dish would then shortly become the specialty of Thunderstruck, had it ever been created.
While Thunderstruck had never been anything close to prosperous, its downfall was one to go in history books. This was not due to any calaclysmic event, but instead due to the strangeness and undeniably missing facts.
On a completely unclear date, Thunderstruck was enveloped in its thick, thundering cloud ceiling. While the barrier was never broken down, it is assumed that there were no survivors. Everyone who was in town when this incident occured was either found dead, their body charred and in some unexplainable location, or was left missing, never to be found.
If you spoke to one of the desceased in Arcadia (Arcadia), even they wouldn't be able to tell you what caused their downfall. To the present day, Thunderstruck's downfall still remains a mystery to even the most knowledgable historians.
