Session 7.5: Steps Away From the Golden Path

General Summary

A bonus microsession, to give Steps Upon Green Hills a crash course in the nature of the Hungry Plains.
Steps Upon Green Hills, or Steps for short, traveled alone. As part of a hunting crew, Steps had used his speed to range farther out than other scavengers from Bos Taurum. Since others could not keep up, the tabaxi ranged forth solo. He soon came across a large wagon, damaged and left as a husk in the grass. Investigation showed the nomad cart had been trapped by grasses, the chieftain was eaten by grass, and the giant goats pulling the cart got taken down by hyenas.
Steps Upon Green Hills was ambushed by Black Rongo's hyenas, after they had taken out the wagon's draft goats. Showing off his martial arts prowess, Steps killed several of the corrupted hyenas, but more and more kept appearing. Surrounded by a thick wall of hyena flesh, it looked as if the hunter was done for. With a flash of moonlight, the Chapel of Light crested a hill and blasted a hole through the wall of hyenas, giving Steps a chance to make it to the church. Sprinting through the opening, Steps made an athletic leap up and climbed up the legs of Chapel of Light where he was greeted by Orthol Clemont, who seemed to have already known he would find the tabaxi here,
