Session 4: Town Gossip
General Summary
The party returned from their expedition to Burrhenge. Vanderbiek was disappointed to hear there were no survivors, but she was excited and grateful that the party was able to bring back information on the vertical farming techniques. While the knowledge was useful to her, it would have been even better if someone with experience could have been recovered. Still, with the valuable information on the unconventional farming techniques the people of Gundrir Boll can be on the path to a better life.
With the influx of fresh food, there was an evening celebration, for all members of the town. The whole town set up tables and prepared the new food, ready to get together and feast and drink. This loosened workers' tongues and got stories and rumors flowing for the players to collect information.
Stella the merchant dwarf bought the jars of Thywicket bile for 150 GP
Khashayar found that the smith and the other forgeman had been to Cindalia and Spindlewick respectively. The smith he talked to had also been rescued by the Chapel of Light. It sounds like it was sometime during the corruption of the place. He started a mild fanatic rant about being saved.
Hodari won an arm wrestling match and a game of darts, winning a couple rumors from a smug repairman.
Kestrel failed a persuasion roll to look over Uthwyk's books for free
They saw a small light and a flash on the horizon, and the haunting sound of Black Rongo's laugh filled their heads as the session ended.
