Perch Guard

The Perch Guard is the organization tasked with security and safety within Humblewood. After the signing of the Humblefolk treaty in Song 415 by the Birdfolk Council, the Perch Guard was established to maintain the protection the entire wood.

The Guard is also tasked with staffing the gates to the City of Alderheart.

The Perch Guard Headquarters is located on the South Side of the Council Plaza in the Canopy district of Alderheart. The HQ is the house of bureaucracy for the Perch Guard including the office of its captain Iris Freel. It also features barracks for the soldiers stationed within Alderheart for city wide defense and those training as recruits. Guards working as part of the City Watch don't live in the barracks and instead live within the districts that they police.
