They are going to "read resources" tomorrow to see what we can do about the fires. Birch, Beebop and I are going to stay at Hanera's House tonight and see Noah, Oliver, James and Theodore. Birch found a recipe in their Herbalism book for a fire balm and we sent Susan a letter about the ingredients. We went to the bakery and bought treats for the temple. Birch told us about their trip to visit their friend and the cool trick they learned for not hurting themselves when falling. Beebop tried to do the trick too.

Time in Humblewood

Started campaign on first beat of first measure of Raytrill - 3 measures (weeks) since   A solar year in lasts 360 days, years = songs. Current calendar year is Song 786. Each song consists of four three-month cycles called verses (seasons), which correspond to seasons. Each month lasts for 30 days and is known as a chorus. There are 12 choruses to a song: Verse (Season) First Chorus Second Chorus Third Chorus The Dawning Verse (Spring) Glimmerbreath Glimmercall Glimmerhush The Rising Verse (Summer) Rayswell Raytrill Raycrest The Falling Verse (Autumn) Shadesigh Shadetoll Shadesway The Fading Verse (Winter) Deepdraw Deepchime Deepstill   A chorus consists of five six-day spans known as measures (like weeks but one day shorter). The days that comprise these measures are called beats (Firsbeat, Sekinbeat, Thirsbeat, Forasbeat, Fifsbeat, and Hexbeat).

Session 9 Notes
Song 786, Firsbeat (First Day) of Raytrill (Second Chorus) of Rising Verse (Summer)

Yesterday we got back to the Trunk with our new friends (tbd on street youths names).   We started by going into Jesp (Jespamin) and Roach's parents store: Things and Stuff. Beebop and I are looking for a souvenir for mom and dad, maybe a farmer's tool. Jesp and Roach's parents are nice, seems like there have some history, maybe trauma. Roach went to see a healer because they thought Jesp was dead. I would need a lot of healer's if I thought Beebop was dead. I decided to buy something Jesp made, I think it is supposed to be a teapot. Maybe we can get it to work. I found a secret door in the basement of the shop with my super owl vision and there is a workshop back there.   Jesp and Roach's dad made gadgets to help handicapped racoons and bandits started using them for evil. He stole back all of his gadgets and was kidnapped. The sword that Beebop took from Fray, the captain of the Bandit Coalition, was made by Jesp and Roach's dad. Mrs. Jesp and Roach's mom was making Jesp's favorite meal for dinner and all of a sudden Beebop and I saw bandits coming to the shop. They asked for "Jeffrey's" monthly payment and Mr. Jesp and Roach gave it to them. The monthly payment was 1000 gold pieces! Everyone but Jesp and Roach's parents followed the bandits when they left and found their safe house. We killed them (well, not me, but I kind of helped). On the bodies, we found a barbed long sword (normal long sword that does an extra 7 damage when you crit), four war hammers, four daggers, a heavy crossbow, a hand crossbow, and a stash of bandit coalition documents (including the wanted poster of guy we just killed for 46,000 gold pieces).
