Luma

A race of polar opposites, both shunned for their eccentricities and celebrated for them.
Examples Include: Doves, Pigeons, Songbirds, Chickadees, Wrens, Sparrows, Cardinals, Bird-of-Paradise

Luma often will approach social situations with hesitation, until they are given the label society will see them fit for.  Either a notable figure or outcast, and the Luma will adapt to that role.
Most of them are often disorganized, distracted, and have a reputation of being "low intelligence".  On the contrary, they have a unique perception and feel of the world.
Rarely will two Lumas agree that their Touched status give the same outcome.  One Luma will consider their off-center perspective as a hinderance and find it difficult to relate to others and be in cities.  While others find it useful to climbing social standings and standing out of the crowd.
Regardless, they often create close-knit communities, with Luma districts popping up in big cities and towns where they keep to themselves and feel understood without judgement.

Often they are Chaotic, not understanding why certain rules are even in place.
Lumas are often Good natured and even after being spurred by society, they are rarely Evil.

They are the shortest of the birdfolk, their average height only being 3 ft.
They are "Small" sized.

There are two subraces of Luma:
-Sable Luma: Often on the fringes of social situations, they are about as subtle as a Luma can be.
-Sera Luma: With unnatural beauty, they are celebrated by those around them, the other side of the coin that a Luma can be.
