when people who survived the F1D9 virus it forever changed their DNA. Altering the DNA bestowed these people with certain extra-sensory abilities like clairvoyance and telepathy. Fear and mistrust of these F1D9 survivors led to mass persecution, and the name Abhorrs was born. In a time when the world crumbled around everything unleashing horrors around every corner, society wanted someone to blame. The Abhorrs made the perfect escape-goat. When something horrible happened, the survivors of a terrible virus received the blame. Hatred on both sides erupted creating a bloodbath. Eventually, the Abhorrs lost the fight fading into extinction. Those that managed to live through the persecution slipped into hiding.
