LunaCorp

The LunaCorp was founded in 97 after Roger William's death. Mr. William's will instructed the his company (Roger's Moonworks) to sell his 51% stake in their stock, and hand control over to a board of directors. However, several buisness leaders on earth already had a large stake in the company, and managed together to secure a majority of the stocks. The seven involved millioinaires later consolidated their own earth-bound launching or rocket production facilities, and formed LunaCorp.

Since 97, LunaCorp has worked to build humanity a better future by broadening its horizons, aquiring new resources, and working to utilize these resources while creating jobs in deep space. Safety is the highest priority of LunaCorp, while we understand that the path to perfection is not without risk.

LunaCorp greatly expanded its lunar facilites in the early 100s, and was able to produce interplanetary-quality spacecraft by 109. The first spacecraft LunaCorp ever sold, the Kosmonaut 1, carried the first humans on the long journey to and from Martian orbit. LunaCorp spacecraft were also used for the duration of the Armstrong program.

LunaCorp established its second interplanetary outpost on Mars in 132, after aquiring and upgrading Armstrong base following the Mark Petty disaster. LunaCorp also established the first permanent base in martian orbit, the orbit of Venus, as well as multiple in The Asteroid Belt. By 130 LunaCorp was the leader in a growing community of economic powerhouses in space, with nearly 1 million employees. While other companies have always focused on the manufacture or purchase of space habitats for Low Earth Orbit, LunaCorp has always focused towards the horizon, searching for Humanity's next challenge.

The company was also instrumental in the 'restoration of Earth' a popular movement to reclaim and rebuild Earth's flora and fauna during the early 22nd century. LunaCorp built massive electronics factories on the moon, leased affordable power satellites to governments from geostationary orbit, and even began the production of in-space foodstuffs, lowering the costs of maintaining space stations, which was instrumental to the burgeoning tourist industry.

In the present day, LunaCorp employs 18% of all offworld humans, a vast 720 billion humans in every corner of the solar system. Not a person lives or dies without LunaCorps influence and assistance, for the good of humanity.
