South Region: The Mino Collective
A faction of the king’s N’Nonmitons grew tired of his regime and forged their own home out of the steaming hot jungle on the southwest coast. The Mino chose the spot they did to set up because of its reputation as a reliably gunpowder-friendly zone. The N’Nonmitons of the collective are expert riflewomen and those who are not doing a tour as frontier guards put their skills to use as mercenaries or trophy hunters. N'Nonmiton mercenaries are free to take any contract they want as long as it doesn't involve capturing, transporting, or selling slaves. Involvement in the slave trade results in expulsion from the collective.

Structure
The women's collective is nominally egalitarian and non-hierarchical, but the tradition is to defer to the community elders. There are men living among the Mino and although they are tolerated and employed if useful, they are not considered part of the collective and have no say in decision-making. They are free to leave, however, as the collective is officially opposed to slavery.
