Regions of Hubworld: Northeast
The landmass bounded by the Spinal Mountains in the west, the Vastlands to the north, the Ocean Endless to the east, and Venial Straits to the south is collectively referred to as “Shoulun” from the Showa for “land of dragons.” Three large empires and numerous smaller kingdoms cover the region. The Empire of the Horse claims everything north of the Golden Crescent to the edge of the Vastlands, excepting the Trollbogs at the northern tip of the Spinals. The Empire of the Dragon is a densely populated, highly cultivated land between the Golden Crescent and the Carp Sea, bordered by the northern Horse Empire and the jungle kingdoms to the south. The Empire of the Carp is made up of the islands dividing the Carp Sea from the Ocean Endless. The southeastern area of Shoulun contains a few small jungle kingdoms and the swampy Ratlands. A giant desert sits in the middle of Shoulun, bordered on three sides by the Golden Crescent mountain range. This is home to various beasts and nomadic tribes, but in the middle of the desert is the oasis city of Salumattu, one of the richest in the world. Between the desert and the Spinal mountains is prairie and hills becoming more densely settled by Humans, Elves, Halflings, and Dwarves the further west one goes. These plains sink into swampland to the south, ending at the steep northern face of the Northern Crescent range separating the Hubbish cities from Shoulun. The southern shore of Shoulun is made up of unpassable mountains forming the north side of the Venial Straits.
Significant regions of Shoulun:

The Golden Desert
The Venial Straits
The Refuge of Valsaline

Druids
Druidic communities become increasingly rare the further east one goes in Shoulun. They have a strong presence along the Spinal Mountains, from the Trollbogs in the north to the Black Sink in the south, and they can be found within any Dianan tribes. Aside from that, there is one Druidic cult hiding in the jungles of the Kingdom of the Snake.
