Ocean Endless Region: Pinoshowa Islands

The Pinoshowa-speaking nations of the north sea include the Whale, Albatross, and Turtle tribes. The Turtles live in simple fishing and farming villages but constantly train for war because of the frequency of Wokou raids. An Elder or Wudang serves as mayor for each village. Turtle Mariners bring fish to Pinwa islanders in exchange for goods from the Carp Empire. Turtles who aren’t ready to settle into a life of fishing and farming sometimes head to the mainland looking for mercenary work. The Albatross and Whale tribes also fish, but occupy colder islands less amenable to farming, and base their economies on trade and piracy.
