Hub Region: Ajaria
Down its middle, Ajaria is an orderly, devoutly religious society of farms and small cities, policed by local Medjays. The eastern shore has one major port but is otherwise controlled by Pirate gangs. At its western edge, desert-dwelling raiders harass outlying villages, creating a demand for heroes to defend the people the king doesn’t have time for.

Structure
Labour is divided by caste and resources are managed by royal bureaucrats. Each city is in charge of policing the surrounding countryside and collecting taxes on behalf of the crown. The monarch is hereditary but the clergy must consent to the transfer of power and may select the next in line, or the next after that, until they find a worthy heir to the throne. Once crowned, most clerics take the will of the king and the will of the gods to be one and submit completely to the monarch.
