Far North Region: Vastlanders and Frostmen

Vastlanders   The Vastlanders have their own language but little else uniting them except family relations. Communities are small and usually familiar with the next one on either side of it and that’s all. The Vastlanders mostly just focus on survival and pass time with story-telling. They are inclined to be helpful to distressed strangers, though also suspicious of the motives that would bring a “greenlander” so far north.   Races: Human   Common Tongue: Vastlandic   Classes: Siku, Survivalist, Skald, Angatkuq     Frostmen   The Frostmen are detailed in Fiend Folio under “Frost Man.” All that is known about them is that they are immune to the cold and hunt alone. Frostmen players have all the powers listed in the FF, but limited class options and advancement potential. Only males go adventuring (no female or youth has ever been seen by outsiders) and will begin play no younger than Mature (26). Frostmen lifespans are half that of Dwarves.   Races: Frostmen   Common Tongue: Frostmandic   Classes: Fighter, Thief, Votary, Magic-User

Structure

Vastlandic communities tend to be consensus-based, but usually defer to their eldest members. The lifestyle is too simple to require administration. There are no purely religious ceremonies, rather, spirituality is incorporated into daily activities such as hunting, preparing food, eating, healing, or building things. Story-telling is both a social and spiritual activity.
It's not clear that Frostmen have any political organization, but they do have a monotheistic priesthood.
