Non playable Races

Dvergr - One of the first two races races created by the Twin Gods. They live deep underground in magnificent stone cities. Master forgers and metalworkers, they crafted the great magical weapons used during the chaos wars.

Aelfen - One of the first two races created by the Twin Gods. They live deep in the great forests and rarely make contact with the other races. Aelfen are attuned with their forests and are driven to protect the balance of nature.

 

Playable races

Human - Born from the union of Dvergr and Aelfen during the chaos wars, humans are highly adaptable and can be found in most corners of the world. They live in a vast array of societies, from small tribes to large civilisations and most of their bigger cities are home to a mix of races. As with the other humanoid races, some humans are born with the ability to wield magic and magic use is accepted in most human cultures.

Animal kin - A human/animal hybrid (animal kin) created by the God Kradzjei in his effort to wage war against the Humans, Aelfen and Dvergr. After the hybrid wars the animal kin integrated with human society and in most places they live together in harmony. A very few human societies, though non among the federation city states, regard them as a lesser species. The animal kin comprise of Dogkin (skylosyn), Catkin (Gatsyn), Ratkin (Arousyn), Birdkin (Arpaksyn) (non flying), cowkin (Agelsyn) and snakekin (Fidisyn).

Elves - Elves were born from the union of humans and Aelfen. They have naturally straight pale hair, yellow or green eyes and are considered beautiful by most of the other races due to their natural gracefulness. Most elves live within human societies though some do live in communities in the forests and woods. These elves are mostly secretive but when they do associate with the other races they love to be the centre of attention like most elves.

Dwarves - Dwarves were born from the union of humans and Dvergr and like their Dvergr parent race have dark skin and eyes, long beards and bushy eyebrows. They stand between 4 and 5 feet tall and are usually broad shouldered and well built. Some dwarves live amognst human societies but most live in cities or keeps carved into the mountainside. They have an affinity for stone and metal working.

T'oyams - Large earthen/clay mix humanoids standing between 6 and 7.5 feet tall, magically animated by mana flowing between cores spread throughout their bodies. Believed to have been created by the Dvergr during the chaos wars with the Deep ones. Although of a similar intelligence to the other humanoid races they lack the emotional range of the other races. They stayed on the surface after the Dvergr retreated back underground after the war. They live in their own communities in mountain foothills. They do however trade and associate with other races and some few do choose to live with the other races, though this is rare.
