Dvergr society is clearly defined by roles: Soldiers, forgers, lore keepers, miners, crafters, stone masons. Soldiers are male and miners are female, though some rare exceptions do exist. The other roles are fairly evenly split between the genders. Each role is considered to be equally important in society and those who excel at their role are widely respected.

Facial characteristics

All Dvergr have long thick beards and long bushy eyebrows. They have pupil less, shining eyes and broad noses with large nostrils.

Naming Traditions

Dvergr have 3 names, birth name, family name and city name. Upon reaching adulthood and selecting a role a prefix is added to their city name. Male names: Dulgroz, Karthan, Folgrin, Kurgzoth Female names: Farneth, Gretza, Nezdir, Valdin

Major Organizations

Each city is governed by a council of elected members from each Role, They decide on matters of law, trade and war. they also assess the cities needs and task the Masters of each Role to fulfill these needs. Each Role has several Masters which direct the labour according to the assigned taks, the Masters are the most skilled and knowledgeable of their Role and are usually elders, though not always, as natural talent and skill are also respected.

Beauty Ideals

A full and well groomed beard is always better. Larger noses with wide nostrils are considered more attractive, as are shinier eyes as these usually indicate better sensory perception. They put their beards and hair into thick intricate plaits and decorate their foreheads with complicated white symbols, akin to Celtic tribal patterns.

Gender Ideals

Males decorate their beards with beads of precious metals woven into the plaits. The females wear delicate nose and earrings also made from precious metals. The more precious the metals the more reknown that dvergr has gained.
