Age of Tireste - Light Period

720AP
740AP

A momentous change: Tireste's next great venture was his attempt to introduce the other major races to Battle Balt. The church funded his dangerous and costly trips to explain the game to the Fein in the Eristy region and the Riktus in the Stexus mountain range of Grask.   In return the church made a deal with Tireste to receive a 15% share in whatever venture the king setup.

The half dead Ofrak were ignored for their variant called Death Balt was an abhorrence of Light which the church and the Queen would never allow entrance to the Imperial arenas.   The king was shocked to find he didn’t need to explain balt rules as the Fein had already founded their own League in 703AP and the Riktus in 706AP.   The All-Race League (ARL) inception of 720AP was a momentous period for it connected three of the major race powerhouses: The committee consisted of the Riktus Queen; Alpha Ashborn, the Fein General (representing the Fein King), The Imperial King and the White church representatives were the Purity Knight Captain, Crusadas and his cardinal the Holy Sister.   Queen Ashaborn initially refused to join unless captured Riktus war slaves were freed, thus removing them from the humiliating duty of creating tremors in the arena. Tireste agreed and set about creating wizard-fuelled tremors.   During the All-Race League’s early days' death was a regular occurrence with Sorce powers dominating matches - skill was less important than raw physical power. Severed limbs also became a common sight with matches finishing in seconds.   To pacify his Queen's concerns, King Tireste stepped away from the Imperial Balt League handing full control to his wife. The Queen set about adding several rules to improve the game's safety. She began by banning killing and then limited the serious injuries that were allowed to be committed. However, in honour of her dead Kings she chose to allow Sorce powers.   A decision she later regretted when the unstoppable force Soul stealer arrived. (Explained later).
