SE07 : EP19 - Nadir Part X - The Last Menagire

General Summary

They emerge into the bright ambient light that passes for daylight in Kizentac. The blue goo rain has stopped and somehow th landscape seems more "normal." Alarmingly the Tower is a good hour's walk away despite the short distance they thought they traveled to exit. There a few trees still standing in the area which seems odd as they saw none on the approach. Assessing things they see the trees are "scaled" with reptile skin on parts. They also notice that it they are on one of the the far sides of the direction they came from.
Kayla speaks to one of the plants. They speak in an odd dialect but it explains they are hiding from the fugal growth and it was deposited here by a "mother." It offers to lead them and they at length begin traveling. As they walk they feel that "mother" refers to a dragon. They wonder if it could be Lulu, but they refer to her as gone.
They are lead to a cave. Sounds not unlike a bird rise out of it's entrance. They defend in, with ever increasing gloom wrapping around them. Torchlight eventually found leading them deeper. A songbird chirps from a bit of timber. It has one eye seemingly surgically removed. It fills down into the lit path. They follow down to a chamber full of animals, all seemingly recovering from injuries.Among them they find the humanoid form of Lulu. They catchup on the last three years. They go rounds discussing the situation in Kizentac and in Horizon. In a wild gambit they decided to see about collecting the staff of Terrasque summoning to slay the corrupted god of growth.
