Happy Camper Orphanage
The Happy Camper Orphanage is where Sly was sent to when his mother and father were murdered by The Fiendish Five. Owned at the time by Mrs. Puffin (who Sly felt was a rather mean person towards them), it was here where Sly met his future partners in crime, Murray and Bentley . The gang also had their first "heist" here: stealing a cookie jar from Ms. Puffin's office.
When Ms. Puffin retired, an elderly lioness named Felyera acquired the orphanage and moved in with her daughter Sarah, becoming the headmistress.
Alterations
After acquiring the building, headmistress Felyera arranged for some construction to be made in order to renovate and expand the building as well as to add an exterior play area which included a sandbox, a swing, a slide, and a playhouse. She also hired extra staff to provide not only educational support to the kids within school age but also specialized support for any kids with special needs.
With monetary support from Together We Rise and creative ideas from her daughter Sarah, the headmistress also started coming up with ways to publicize the orphanage to the community and encourage adoption (especially siblings, older children, or those with health problems), organizing several marketing campaigns, fundraisings and garage sales throughout the years, as well as events for the community to interact with the children, such as dog-walking (in partnership with the local kennel, to help promote animal adoption as well), cleaning of public spaces, promoting reading and gaming sessions at the local library, etc.
