The Flatlands

The Flatlands are the large grassy plains to the south of the Red Peak mountains. A number of independent but allied nomadic or semi-nomadic tribes inhabit this large area. The name comes from the comparison to the mountains to the north, south, and west. There are breaks in the mountains to the north-east, and most of the eastern side of the plains.
