Tieflings

There are stories of terrible monsters and demons that roam the dark places in the world. Many fear and revile them but, there are those who have entered into pacts with these entities in order to gain power. Some of these pacts were made in such a manner that some fiendish energy mingled with the blood of those who made them. This legacy has persisted through the ages in the Tieflings. Their obvious supernatural heritage makes them mistrusted by most of the peoples on Iolivus but their self-reliant spirit finds them in many different walks of life and situations. While physically touched by their infernal origins, Tieflings hold no particular penchant for good or evil and, though mistrusted, the majority of Tieflings are valued members of society.
