Excerpt found by Aja upon first reading:
'The recent completion of my planer dislocation engine has offered me several interesting new observations. An artifact called “The Unending Moment” has allowed me to forward the connection to both the Shadowfell and the Feywild. A number of ancient texts provide description of what one should expect on these “inner planes”. However, no reputable scholar has yet to publish an account of traversing the boundaries of the prime material to visit them. I believe I may be the first in living memory. The Feywild is purported to be the wild mirror of our plane; The ever-changing reflection. The Shadowfell, Conversely, is a locus of stillness where the very laws of nature conspired to rob the energy and motion from anything present. So, imagine my surprise when, upon visiting the Shadowfell, I found three distinct points of colored light in the sky over that muted, colorless place.
Similarly, while exploring the night lands in the Fey, I chanced to climb above the canopy and observed more colored points of light. Perhaps not the most strange thing in a place of constant vibrancy but, the fact that they hung in a perfect line, extending from the horizon, flew in the face of the chaos that the Fey represents. No matter where I traveled in the Fey, these stars remained in order and only moved across the longitude of the Sky, always perfectly aligned, as I moved duskward or dawnward. The correlation of the celestial lights to the set of light shards leaves me to wonder if they relate to the arcane engines used by the great worms to cast the Sealing. Why they are visible in the Fey and Shadowfell and not on the prime material is beyond me at this time; as is the absence of The Shroud’s reflection. Perhaps the boundaries between planes admit certain energies and restrict others.
Research into the nature of planar boundaries has revealed that the transection of the Planes inside The Hollow, possibly, does not follow the same patterns as elsewhere in the multiverse. “The Dawn War” clearly establishes the Upper and Lower planes as the dwelling places of various divine beings there described. However, upon developing such arcane skill as to traverse the Planes, one would find no central locus for any spiritual forces in the portions of the plane sectioned off during The Sealing. This suggests that The Hollow was constructed as some sort of celestial prison and the emergence of lower life forms is simply a natural path that any environment takes. Who or what The Hollow was to contain is unknown but, the existence of several powerful planar entities is described in “The Transitive Hub: The Realm of the Lady of Pain”.
There have been some reports that the Kellek cult claims to have contacted some powerful entity but, whether it is simply a particularly powerful fiend or the cosmic prisoner that I believe is trapped in The Hollow remains to be seen. If indeed they have located the object of The Hollow’s making, perhaps I will be able to understand what could have driven metallic and chromatic dragons to set aside their enmity in order to cast the Sealing. Perhaps the reported patron deities of the dragons, Bahamut and Tiamat, faced a threat so catastrophic that they found temporary alliance in a common enemy. Long are the lives of Wyrms but, every attempt at interrogation of Negrixtrasa has been met with either violence or haughty disdain.
I have even sought the aid of the custodians of The Glittering Soul but, was denied an audience due to my lack of draconic heritage. While infuriating, I can likely gain admittance with a draconic sponsor. I have heard of an ancient gold Wyrm living near the prismatic sea to the East. It is a long journey but, at least my return shall be instantaneous. I look forward to resuming my studies of the significance of celestial bodies on planar transection.'
